It’s going to be a busy time here at Corsham Writes, as we have a full timetable of in-person courses for the Autumn. It is always inspiring to welcome new writers over the threshold and watch how their stories come to life. Alongside fiction, there will be the wellbeing focus, using creative writing to step into the new. Have a browse below.
Autumn Timetable
Intro to Writing Fiction
Our popular intro course is taking place as a workshop over the weekend of 5th and 6th September.
This is a great course for anyone wanting a generalised introduction to writing fiction in all genres. We look at Characters, Plot, Showing and Telling, Dialogue, Chapter One and everything in between.
£110 per person
Writing Romantasy
Fairies, Elves, Vampires, Werewolves, Dragons…the list of characters for Romantasy is endless, but who is floating around your imagination?
Join Corsham Writes on Saturday 19th September for a one-day workshop exploring Romantasy fiction!

The Journey
Following on from the January course, Corsham Writes’ writing for wellbeing series is running again with The Journey, a seven session course over fourteen weeks, using meditation, creative writing, chanting, movement and conversation to allow you to turn inwards and focus on your fabulous self. This is a safe place for personal exploration
Session dates are 3rd sept, 17th Sept, 1st Oct, 15th Oct, 29th Oct, 12th Nov, 26th Nov 7pm-9pm

Writing Romantic Fiction
Romantic fiction is the best selling genre in the world, but there is always room for one more story!
Join Corsham Writes on Saturday 17th October for a one-day workshop exploring Romantic Fiction! We will look at characters, meet-cutes, meet-messes, building tension, literary relationships and plot plus everything in between!
